  We had a pleasant experience with this storage company on the front end. Check in was simple enough and we thought all was well. However, we went back a couple months later to grab something out of our unit and it was infested with rats. We had the majority of our things stored in plastic bins, but the rats had chewed holes into it. We saw the rats, plus everything was encrusted with a strong smell of feces and urine. Several of our things we're ruined. Our shoes were chewed through, etc.. This was our first experience using a storage unit. We had expected bugs so we made sure to wrap things tightly and we put the recommend bug killer around the edges of our unit. We we're not expecting rats nor were we warned. I wanted to write this post so that anyone moving in is aware and that they don't put anything in the unit that could be ruined by rats. I attempted to contact the management about this issue, so as to get some assurance that they would handle the rat issue for future customers. However, I never received any response. All that to say, I wouldn't put any real valuables in the outdoor storage units we ended up having to throw away a carload of things. In the end, we spent months paying to store things that were no longer of value.
